Returns

For Products purchased online You may return Products at your cost (which for overseas Customers must include all UK customs clearance formalities) within fourteen working days after receipt of your order and of letting us know within 14 days subject to the following: The Products must be undamaged, in the original undamaged packaging and in saleable condition for a full refund. If original undamaged packaging is not used then 'excessive handling' charges may be deducted from you credit. Also, if the value of the item has been reduced and can no longer be sold as new due to the original undamaged packaging not being used, then the reduction in value may be deducted from your credit. We recommend you consider the option of taking out insurance (which will be offered by your delivery company) in case any damage occurs during return transit. We can arrange a collection on your behalf if requested however this incurs a minimum collection cost to us of £30.30 (variable due to weight/volume ratio of the parcel and the collection postcode) which will be deducted from your refund. You will require a returns authorisation in writing from us before returning any Products. However, if a Product has been made individually to your specification, which would also include cutting fabric to your requested length, then these rights to return do not apply in accordance with the provisions of the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations, unless the product is faulty. Please be aware that some Products have been specially imported for You from the USA, Canada or Europe upon receipt of your order. These provisions do not affect your statutory rights, see below. For Products purchased in store or by phone following a visit to our store, Products are not always accepted for return as many Products have been ordered in specially for you. Rarely, where fabric or wallpaper companies do accept returns, it is often for not less than 5 metres of fabric or 5 rolls of wallpaper and they will charge a handling / restocking fee of 25% and the cost of the outward and inward carriage. For furniture and other Products our suppliers will normally charge a handling / restocking fee if they do accept Products back and the cost of the outward and inward carriage. Postage or shipping charges are the buyer’s responsibility.

In the event of a fault please contact us by email and attach photos to aid your description of the fault. For wallpaper faults we will require a sample of the faulty Product with the label sending to us – it is not always necessary to return all the faulty wallpaper, however, do not dispose of the faulty wallpaper until a credit is received as some manufacturers do require return before crediting. Please note that You should check all wallpaper Products for faults before and during hanging. Fabrics must be checked for faults before any cutting, treatment or alteration is made as once cut, treated or altered acceptance of the product is deemed to have been made. If the product is defective in any way or has a fault, we will arrange collection and a replacement will be made at no charge. All faults should be notified to us within 7 days of receipt.

When returning products in any of the above circumstances please send us an e-mail to sales@williamrobinson.co.uk. Please state your delivery note number, date of receipt, the reason for returning the Product and whether You would like a refund or a replacement Product. If You are returning Products please send them to William Robinson Ltd, Daleside Road, Nottingham, NG2 4DH, United Kingdom.
